The First Day of School

Hey guys! I'm back with another journal entry. My mom told me to come down and eat dinner.  ANYWHO, lunch was pretty fun. I had already made a new friend which was a plus and my classes were really fun. We mostly just did games to get the know eachother and introductions to each topic. Before lunch, I had reading and did half of math. My teacher Mrs. Griffen is really nice! Her whole room smells like lavender and she let us choose where we wanted to sit. Now I have good and bad news. The good news is that Norah is in my class sitting right on my right. The bad news is that the mean girls are in our class too. Sitting right next to us on to the right. Thankfully we only did introductions today because I was very disctracted with Marie putting gum in people's hair and Karen, who's the girl with the red hair, throw erasers at people. Kim Rae-Myung and the Mean Girls

 Hello everyone! Today was kind of started with an unexpected twist. The rest of the day was fun but this specific part of the day stayed in my head for a while. That's why I am writing about today in two journal entries. Anyways, let's get into the story.  It all started in the morning. In the morning, Mom didn't have to cook today.  "Mom, the stove isn't even hot." I said right after getting ready and coming downstairs. "How is breakfast done?"  "Good morning hon! The neighbors were so kind and made us fresh breakfast! They have a daughter too! It might be fun for you two to meet!" "How old is she Mom?" I asked as I sat down and put bacon on my plate.  "Actually, the neighbors did not tell me. I'm sure that if she's your age, you will meet her at school!" Blog 3 - Packing for School - Pt 2

 The classic cookies, my favorite! I knew that only Nana makes those! I went to the backyard to see if Nana and Gramp were here. I walked outside an found a bunch of moving boxes.  "Mom, Nana and Gramp are here!" "Ok, honey, calm down." Mom said as she walked outside.  "I can't believe that they are going to live in out backyard!" I exclaimed as I slipped my shoes on.  "For your information, it's a guest house." Matthew said while coming out the door.  "Whatever Matthew." I rolled my eyes.  "Hey kiddos!" Said a familiar voice.  "Nana!" I ran towards my grandma. Mom looks a lot like Nana. Nana has blue eyes, grey hair, and a pointy nose. She loves knitting and making funky clothes.  I hugged Nana real tight. Nana used to live in Florida so we rarely see her. Blog 2 - Packing for school! Part 1

 Hello everyone! Today is a big event for all of my family. Our grandparents are moving in and it is 3 more days until school! Mom is going to take me and my brother shopping. My little sister and my dad will help Nana and Gramp move in! My sister is only 4 so she is not going to school yet. She is in preschool, but she does not need supplies for that!  "Lucy, honey, we need to go!"  "Coming Mom!" I yell as I run downstairs.  Hello everyone! This is Lucy Edwins. You probably don't know me (yet) because I am new to this. From today onwards, I am going to start a journal! Just to let you know when I got started, today is September 3.
